Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha have to deal with Kenny Miller’s and Clint Hill’s futures in the near future.

Glasgow Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has told the Ibrox side’s official Youtube channel that he will be making a decision on the futures of Kenny Miller and Clint Hill in the near future.

Miller and Hill both see their contracts at Rangers expire at the end of the season, but they have expressed a desire to stay.

The pair have played key roles at Ibrox this term, but whether Caixinha sees a future for them both in his side remains to be seen.

Miller and Hill are both reaching the twilight of their careers, with limited time remaining before they will retire.

And Caixinha has hinted that it will not be long until he makes a final decision over whether either of the experienced duo will be offered fresh terms.

“As you know, we have two points in order to consider,” Caixinha explained, when asked whether he wanted to keep Hill and Miller at Rangers.

“The first one is that one week ago, I hold a meeting with the chairman – it was a fantastic meeting. It was about assessing the whole squad in order to take decisions sooner rather than later. We are already working on it.

“The other point is about the football director. At this moment, I need to be present in this work. We are assessing in order to have the decisions sooner rather than later, so when someone comes on board you have most the work done.”

Hill and Miller both started in Caixinha’s first match in charge at Rangers, with the former getting on the scoresheet in a 4-0 win against Hamilton.

But whether the pair will remain in Rangers’ first-team for the rest of the season remains to be seen.

Hill and Miller could now have a very important few weeks ahead of them, as they look to prove to Caixinha that they have a role to play in his set up.

Rangers are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Motherwell at Ibrox – looking to make it two wins out of two under their new manager’s guidance.
