Glasgow Rangers youngster Barrie McKay has impressed for the Ibrox side this season.
Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has insisted to the Scotsman that he has no problems with star midfielder Barrie McKay.
McKay has been linked with a move away from Rangers this month, with his future at Ibrox looking uncertain.
The 22-year-old’s contract with Rangers expires at the end of the season, and there are a host of clubs chasing him now.
Warburton admits that Rangers may be forced to sell McKay, but he has no qualms with the winger’s attitude.
“I have no problems about Barrie McKay whatsoever; I want him to keep on working hard every day in training and watch him continue to develop in the weeks ahead,” Warburton said.
“There are no fears Barrie’s head has been turned, you saw at the weekend the level of his performance, his dynamism, his desire and his commitment to the club is undoubted.”
McKay has been one of the stars of Rangers’ season to date, with his performances catching the eye.
The skilful wide man has scored three times and made nine assists in 28 appearances for Rangers.
McKay’s good form has reportedly attracted the attention of Bundesliga title challengers RB Leipzig, who are interested in completing a £6 million deal.
Warburton is said to be open to selling McKay for a big price, if he is allowed to invest the money back into the squad at Ibrox (Record).
