Glasgow Rangers won 2-1 at Ibrox against Aberdeen yesterday.

Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has thanked the Ibrox crowd for their support against Aberdeen yesterday.

Rangers picked up an important 2-1 win against the Dons, to relieve some of the pressure building on them.

Warburton has faced a lot of criticism recently, following Rangers’ disappointing start since earning promotion back to the Scottish Premiership.

However, the Rangers fans got behind their team from the start yesterday, and encouraged them to pick up the three points.

Rangers responded by putting in an excellent second-half display, with Kenny Miller and Lee Hodson scoring the goals to earn Warburton’s side the win.

And the Rangers boss was clearly delighted to have picked up the three points, which have moved his side up to second in the table.

Rangers’ victory should have bought Warburton some more time, as the murmurs of discontent were beginning to grow at Ibrox.

Rangers are next in action on Saturday, when they take on third placed Hearts, in what will be another tough test for Warburton’s side.
