Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are set to take on Celtic in two weekends’ time.
Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has insisted at his press conference that Jordan Rossiter will be ready to play against Celtic in the Old-Firm derby.
Rangers are due to face Celtic in the Scottish League Cup semi-final in two weekends’ time, when they will be looking to avenge their heavy defeat from their Glasgow rivals earlier in the season.
Celtic beat Rangers 5-1 in Scottish Premiership action last month, and Warburton’s side will be under pressure to improve on that performance this time around.
The Ibrox side will be boosted by the news that Rossiter will be available for selection, and they will also have Josh Windass and Matt Crooks ready for the fixture.
Rossiter joined Rangers from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, but he has made a limited impact at Ibrox so far.
The youngster has made just six appearances for Rangers so far, and he has not been seen since August.
His return will be a major boost for Rangers, but their match against Celtic looks set to be a tough test.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have been in fantastic form this term, and remain unbeaten in domestic action.
