Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers lost 2-0 against Hearts last night.
Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has stressed that he has no concerns about Matt Crooks in the Daily Record.
Crooks was surprisingly selected to start for Rangers against Hearts, but the central midfielder struggled to get into the game, with Hearts running out 2-0 winners.
Many Rangers fans questioned why Crooks was picked to start in the fixture, as he has missed so much of the season with injury.
But Warburton argued: “Crooksy is no problem, no worry about him at all.
“He had five under-20 games and his energy was no problem at all. He did okay. It was a big game to step into, but he is more than capable of doing it.
“It is just frustrating that we dropped three valuable points. Any point you drop is valuable, but the good thing is we have got the chance to put it right on Saturday.
“What we have to do is respond very positively. We have got to have a good response. There is no feeling sorry for ourselves.”
Rangers’ defeat against Hearts has ramped up the pressure on Warburton, after the Ibrox’s side’s disappointing start to the campaign.
Rangers were abject at Tynecastle, and they were undone by Robbie Muirhead’s brace.
Warburton’s side have now slipped down to third place in the Scottish Premiership table, and they have played a game more than many of their rivals.
Rangers are next in action against Aberdeen at the weekend, when they will be under serious pressure to get the three points.
