Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are currently in fifth place in the Scottish Premiership table.

Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has told the Glasgow Evening Times that his Ibrox side’s start to the season has not been as poor as some have made out.
Rangers have been criticised for beginning the new campaign in poor fashion, after a series of disappointing results.
Rangers are already seven points behind Celtic, and they currently sit in fifth place in the Scottish Premiership table.
However, Warburton feels that his Rangers team have taken unfair criticism for their form.

“We have said, ‘be patient’ but the hype and expectation around Rangers is there for all to see,” he said.
“Now you are seeing signs of improvement. According to many people, we’ve had a ‘shocking’ start but we are still doing okay.”
Rangers went into the new season with plenty of momentum behind them, after dominating the Scottish Championship last term.

However, the Light Blues have taken some time to adapt upon their return to the top flight.
Rangers have lost to Celtic in both the matches they have played against their rivals this season, and there still appears to be a gulf between the two sides.
Rangers are next in action on Wednesday evening, when they take on St. Johnstone at Ibrox.
