Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has told the Glasgow Evening Times that Jordan Rossiter is frustrated again at Ibrox.

Rossiter joined Rangers from Liverpool during the summer transfer window, and there were big expectations over the impact that the 19-year-old could make for the Light Blues.

However, Rossiter’s time at Rangers has been blighted by injury so far.

The youngster has twice picked up injury problems while representing England at under-19 level.

And Warburton said: “He’s frustrated again. He got injured again on international duty. We’ll have to have a look at the travel – whatever it may be.

“But he’s made a significant improvement over the past couple of days. We’re hoping Ross County [on 6th November] might be his first game back.”

Rossiter has not featured for Rangers since August, with his comeback taking longer than many first expected.

Rossiter has only played six times for Warburton’s men in all competitions, and he is yet to showcase his obvious talent.

Rangers’ next outing comes against Kilmarnock, as they aim to pick up their first win in three matches.

Rangers are currently in fifth place in the Scottish Premiership, but could move up to second if they are able to collect the three points at the weekend.
