Barrie McKay and Harry Forrester were both left out of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers’ last starting line-up.
Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has told the Glasgow Evening Times that he has frustrated both Harry Forrester and Barrie McKay with his recent team selections.
Forrester has been used mainly as a substitute this season, while McKay was dropped to the bench for Rangers’ most recent match against Dundee.
The pair both entered the field late on against Dundee, with Rangers struggling to make a breakthrough.
With the scores locked at 0-0, the Light Blues needed a spark – and thankfully McKay and Forrester provided it.
McKay looked threatening during his time on the pitch, and Forrester headed home the winning goal in the last minute.
And Warburton said: “Harry, likewise to Barrie, has been frustrated, but he’s such a good ball player, such a clever player, and he showed his quality again on Saturday.”
Forrester and McKay both appear to have good chances of starting in Rangers’ next match, which comes against Partick at the weekend.
If Rangers are able to win at Firhill they will move ahead of Aberdeen and up to second place in the Scottish Premiership table.
