Jordan Rossiter has been frustrated with injury since signing for Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers in 2016.

Glasgow Rangers boss Graeme Murty has said that Jordan Rossiter’s return to action is ‘massively positive’ news for his Ibrox side.

Rossiter joined Rangers back in 2016, but his time in Glasgow has been hugely frustrating so far.

The former Liverpool man has not been able to show what he can do, as he has failed to get a consistent run of games.

But Rossiter played for over an hour in Rangers’ last development match, which they won against Valencia.

And Murty has confirmed that Rossiter has suffered no ill-feeling after the contest, which is good news for Rangers.

Rangers are next in action tomorrow night against Partick Thistle, but that match is likely to come too soon for Rossiter.

Rangers will want to be cautious with Rossiter’s return, as he has been out for so long.

If Rangers can get Rossiter off the treatment table and back into the first-team, he could yet have a key role to play this season, as he remains one of their most exciting young talents.
