West Ham United fans have responded to BBC pundit Garth Crooks after he criticised them.

West Ham secured Premier League survival with a fine 2-0 win away at Leicester at the weekend thanks to goals from Joao Mario and Mark Noble.
Key to that victory was the Hammers’ star man since David Moyes’ arrival in November, Marko Arnautovic.
The Austrian almost scored a superb snap volley which rocked the crossbar and came close with what would have been one of the finest individual goals of the season when he jinked past several players in the box.
Arnautovic provided the assist for Mario to open the scoring and was a threat all game.

His goals, assists and workrate have been the difference between relegation and survival for West Ham and he was understandably named the club’s Hammer of the Year at the recent awards.
But BBC pundit Garth Crooks said he was baffled by Hammers fans’ Player of the Season choice.
West Ham fans have not taken kindly to Crooks’ comments and his rather simplistic view, and they didn’t hold back when savaging the ex-Spurs man on Twitter.
