Supporters of Crystal Palace are reacting to reports linking Zion Atta with clubs including Liverpool.
According to The Daily Mail, Liverpool have ‘renewed their interest’ in the Crystal Palace teenager, having also been linked with him last year.
Palace are said to have tied down Atta to a scholarship deal earlier in 2020.
But the 16-year-old cannot sign professional forms until his next birthday, leaving them vulnerable to offers in the meantime.
It is claimed that with regulations set to be introduced on the signing of overseas youngsters post-Brexit, the demand for homegrown talent has increased among clubs such as Liverpool.
And the following Crystal Palace fans hope their side – and Atta himself – can resist any offers that might arrive from Anfield…
Manchester City are also listed as Atta suitors by The Daily Mail, alongside Bayern Munich, Borussia Monchengladbach and Augsburg, while Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and Juventus have all been credited with an interest in the past.
Crystal Palace are said to have high hopes for Atta, for whom they paid Millwall £60,000 when he was just 13.
The Eagles academy has produced internationals such as Wilfried Zaha (Ivory Coast), Victor Moses (Nigeria), Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Nathaniel Clyne (both England) in recent years.

But the lure of Liverpool, the reigning English and recent European champions, could be strong for Atta.
Joe Gomez, Jonjo Shelvey, Dominic Solanke and Raheem Sterling all earned full caps for England – whom Atta currently represents at Under-16 level – after leaving London clubs for Liverpool as teenagers.
