The Leeds United defender has fallen out of favour at Elland Road but could he still have a part to play next season?
The agent of Leeds United centre-back Giuseppe Bellusci has been speaking exclusively to calciocasteddu.it about his client’s future.
The defender spent last season on loan at Empoli, featuring 33 times for the Serie A side but failing to save them from relegation to the second tier.

Such has been his fall from grace at Elland Road that it is widely expected he will move on permanently this summer. However for now his future remains uncertain and he could yet return to Leeds if a deal cannot be agreed in the next few weeks.
“Giuseppe still has two years on his contract with Leeds,” Michelangelo Minieri told calciocasteddu.it. “He is doing well and, by the way, is highly respected by the management.”
He went on to explain that Bellusci would like to return to Italy. But only time will tell if a suitable offer arrives for a player who has not had the best of times at Leeds, with his horror show against Middlesbrough seemingly putting a full-stop on his time as a first-choice option for the Whites.
New Leeds manager Thomas Christiansen may have other ideas, especially with the club short at the back following Kyle Bartley’s return to parent club Swansea City.
However the likelihood is that Bellusci has played his last match for Leeds and a move will come to fruition that suits all parties, provided he is patient enough.
