Giuseppe Bellusci is currently on loan at Empoli from Leeds United.

Former Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci has told Goal.com that he wishes the attendances in Italy were as good as they were in England.
Bellusci spent two seasons at Leeds, and he became accustomed to playing in front of large crowds at Elland Road.
Leeds have one of the most loyal fan bases in English football, and are always backed by large numbers.

It was something that Bellusci really appreciated during his time with the Whites, and he says he wishes Italian fans turned out in such numbers.
“If I could, I would bring Italy in the environment that you breathe in English stadiums,” the defender, who is currently on loan at Empoli, said. “And not just in the Premier: our games were watched by 25 to 30 thousand spectators. Whole families enjoyed the show.

“I do not know why you can not do the same in Italy I asked myself many times why, but I can not give an explanation. Not that at Empoli miss the passion.”
Leeds fans had a rather tumultuous relationship with Bellusci during his time at the Yorkshire side.
Bellusci earned credit for his passion during his initial time at the club, but he quickly lost favour with supporters.
Bellusci put in a number of error prone displays at Leeds, and also caused controversy with some of his actions.
Bellusci has made six appearances for Empoli during his loan spell so far, and he has scored once.
