The future of Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco remains unclear and Italian newspaper reports suggest Arsenal and Tottenham may be lurking.
While Sebastian Giovinco is back in the Italian national set-up, he is still to sign a new contract with Juventus and could be lured away in January.
The diminutive forward has been stuck in limbo after an extremely promising start to his career and talks over a contract extension remain thorny.
Although Massimiliano Allegri has replaced Antonio Conte as coach, it remains to be seen whether Giovinco’s chances of getting first-team football improve.
Ironically, Conte, who primarily used Giovinco as a back-up, chose the Atomic Ant for his squads to face Holland and Norway, giving a glimmer of hope for a return to regular national football.
Arsenal and Tottenham have both been repeatedly linked with Giovinco in the past and he could be seen as a useful winter reinforcement.
However, Tuttosport insists that Juventus have no intention of selling the homegrown talent and expects the club to make a concerted effort to extend his contract beyond June 2015.
