West Ham United’s Manuel Lanzini has congratulated Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso on Instagram on winning the Copa America.

Lo Celso is part of the Argentina squad who have just won the Copa America.

Argentina beat Brazil 1-0 in the final earlier today.

Lo Celso – who cost Tottenham £27.2 million in transfer fees, according to BBC Sport, and is called the ‘little monkey’ by his teammates – has sent a simple message on Instagram revelling in the win.

The Spurs midfielder’s Argentina international teammate, Lanzini, has responded to it, and so has his Tottenham teammate Eric Dier.

West Ham attacking midfielder Lanzini was not part of the Argentina squad for the Copa America.

Lanzini wrote, when translated from Spanish: “Sure monkey congratulations friend”

Dier wrote: “congratulations brother”

Lo Celso has had injury problems during his time at Tottenham, but the Argentina international is a very good midfielder.

Winning the Copa America with Argentina will only boost the confidence of the midfielder.

That will, in turn, help Tottenham.

The Tottenham no.18 played thrice in the Copa America for Argentina.

The 25-year-old made 11 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs last season.

Lo Celso scored one goal and gave one assist in those matches.

The Argentine also scored two goals in six Europa League appearances for Spurs last season.
