Tottenham Hotspur continue to chase Real Betis ace Giovani Lo Celso.

Argentina are into the semi-finals of Copa America after beating Venezuela 2-0 on Friday – and Giovani Lo Celso played a huge part in the victory.
Lionel Scaloni’s side have been unconvincing so far, but coasted to a 2-0 win as Lautaro Martinez opened the scoring before Lo Celso added the second.
That was just Lo Celso’s second goal for Argentina, despite the fact that he racked up 16 goals for Spanish side Real Betis last season.
Lo Celso himself hasn’t been at his best so far after coming into the tournament with such a high billing, though that’s somewhat understandable given the continued speculation about his future.
After making his loan move from Paris Saint-Germain to Betis permanent, Lo Celso is now wanted by Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs have launched a £53million bid already according to BBC Sport, and whilst news has been thin on the ground of late, Tottenham are still in the hunt for Pochettino’s compatriot.
After scoring Friday’s goal, Lo Celso took to Instagram to celebrate, suggesting that Argentina were one step closer to their goal, though they face Brazil in the semi-finals.
Intriguingly, Tottenham star Erik Lamela – who could play alongside Lo Celso for Spurs next season having already played together for Argentina – replied celebrating the midfielder’s goal too, with one Spurs fan begging the playmaker to bring Lo Celso to North London with him.
