Thiago Almada was heavily praised by Atlanta United teammate Giorgos Giakoumakis after the pair featured for the MLS All-Stars.
Speaking to 90min, the Greek international lauded the Five Stripes playmaker when asked about Almada’s creative and overall ability.
The Argentine has been of the best players in MLS this year and is an early contender for the MVP award at the mid-season point.
Giakoumakis and Almada both featured for the All-Stars last night as Arsenal swept the MLS side away with a 5-0 win, with the Atlanta duo hardly having a chance against the Gunners.

Although the result was a damming one for MLS, some positives were taken from the match, with Giakoumakis using his time with the media to praise Almada.
The former Celtic star said about the Argentine international: “Thiago’s talent is incredible, it’s amazing. His ability, his vision is amazing.
“It’s all about his ambition and where he wants to end up.
“If he wants to make the next step, it will be up to him. If not, he will be one of our leaders in Atlanta and I’m really happy I’ve shared the field with him.”
Giakoumakis can help Almada secure major European move

Almada’s record this season speaks for himself. And there’s a strong chance that the South American is the next MLS star to win a major move to Europe.
The silky playmaker has made a fool out of MLS defenses for the past two seasons. And the January transfer window could see the youngster make the trip across the Atlantic.
And Giakoumakis could be key in securing a move, with the striker often on the end of Almada’s incredible passes and deft touches from dangerous positions.
Indeed, Giakoumakis has been an ideal fit for Almada’s style. And the Greek international’s finishing could be key in helping his teammate secure the dream transfer to Europe.
