Richarlison has told his Tottenham Hotspur teammate, Ivan Perisic, on Instagram that ‘you are a giant’ after Croatia reached the World Cup semi-finals for the second tournament running and even hinted that he will make the final.
Whilst it was joy for one Tottenham player out in Qatar, it was heartbreak for another because the European side knocked Brazil out of the competition after a dramatic penalty shootout.
When Perisic sent Richarlison a heart emoji after he posted on IG about that devastating loss, the forward hinted or suggested that his club teammate will see past Argentina and get to the final by replying in the comments section ‘good luck next GAMES.’
“Congrats bro,” said Richarlison. “You’re a giant. Good luck next games.”

This Croatia side have been here before when they knocked England out of the semi-finals in Russia, before going on and losing the final to France.
Well, that scenario could re-write itself again because the world champions are on the other side of the draw after beating England.
Of course, that might not happen because the unthinkable might just occur and that’s Morocco reaching the final of football’s biggest-ever tournament.
But for Perisic and Co., they have to see past Lionel Messi-inspired Argentina, who are well aware that this is the last chance for their superstar to bow out of football as perhaps the greatest of them all.
Many feel this possible World Cup win will write that history, so this semi-final clash for Perisic will be much tougher than what they were up against when they faced England four years ago.
