The Italian shot-stopper believes the that Manchester City should target the AC Milan teenager.
Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon is quoted by Calcio Mercato, via Sky Italia, as advising Manchester City to make a move for Italy’s next young star, AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Despite the signing of established keeper Claudio Bravo from Barcelona, City may see the 17-year-old as one for the future.

The Italian recently became the youngest goalkeeper to make their international debut, in a September friendly against France.
And since bursting onto the scene last season, he has established himself as Milan’s number one with eye-catching displays that have brought plaudits from onlookers.
The Italian international is sure to be a target for some of European football’s elite clubs and is yet to negotiate a new contract with his current deal ending in 2018.

Buffon claims that the Citizens would be the ‘right move’ for his presumed heir.
“I’d advise them [Manchester City] to make an offer for Donnarumma. If they’d make a proposal to sign him, they would make the right move'” Buffon is reported by Calcio Mercato as saying.
“Gigio [Donnarumma], however, is already playing for a glorious club, if he’d ask me to give him an advice, I’ll talk to him as he was my brother.”
Despite Buffon’s comments it is unlikely that Milan, Serie A giants themselves, would let go of their academy graduate very easily, especially considering he is at the beginning of a career full of promise.
