West Ham United have been linked with Roberto Mancini.

Former Chelsea boss Gianluca Vialli has told TASS that he thinks Zenit St. Petersburg manager Roberto Mancini will resist any approach from West Ham United.
The Hammers are in turmoil right now, as they were thrashed 3-0 by Brighton and Hove Albion at the London Stadium on Friday evening, piling the pressure on manager Slaven Bilic.
With five defeats in nine Premier League games this season, manager Bilic is under increasing scrutiny, which is no great surprise that he only just about managed to cling on to his job at the end of last season.

The Croatian desperately needs a win from somewhere, and whilst that may come against Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup this evening, speculation surrounds a possible successor at the London Stadium.
The Mirror reported over the weekend that, if West Ham do decide to make a managerial change, then they are likely to launch an approach for Italian boss Roberto Mancini – but their chances of landing him don’t look too good.
Mancini only took the reins at Zenit St. Petersburg over the summer, and prising him away from Russia could be difficult, even if West Ham may feel that he has the track record they’re looking for.

Mancini won the Premier League title with Manchester City in 2012, and whilst spells with Galatasaray and Inter Milan haven’t given him much success, he was popular in England, with West Ham now allegedly keen to offer him a return.
Now though, Gianluca Vialli – once a rival of West Ham during his time with London neighbours Chelsea – has told TASS that he doesn’t think his compatriot will be leaving Zenit any time soon.
Vialli claims that Mancini is happy in Russia and is expecting him to stay with Zenit for two or three years, confidently predicting that he won’t be the next West Ham manager if Bilic leaves in the near future.
