Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have been linked with Steve Clarke.

Gianfranco Zola has told The Sunday Post that he has no idea what his friend and former team-mate Steve Clarke is planning to do amid rumours about the Rangers job, but joked that he would use his friendship to obtain tickets and experience the atmosphere at Ibrox if he is appointed.
Clarke’s Kilmarnock side beat Rangers 1-0 at Ibrox prior to the international break in a result which has seen the 54-year-old become a reported candidate to take over from Graeme Murty in Glasgow this summer.
The Rugby Park side have also beaten Celtic under the former West Brom ace, and fans of the Ibrox club expressed their desire to see Clarke at the helm in time for next season.
The Ayrshire-born manager spent two years playing alongside Zola at Chelsea until 1998, and the Italian legend says he would love to experience the “incredible” atmosphere at a Gers game if his mate gets the job.

He said to The Sunday Post: “I don’t know what will happen, but if Steve were to go to Rangers, I would certainly take advantage of my friendship with him to get a ticket to attend an Old Firm game,” said Zola.
“They tell me that the atmosphere in the stands for these fixtures really is something incredible. You hear that, and you think: ‘This is something I really want to experience at first hand’.”
Murty’s chances of landing the job on a long-term basis have suffered a blow in recent weeks following defeats by Celtic and Killie, though prior to that Rangers had enjoyed a six-match winning streak.
