Newcastle United right-back Kieran Trippier and Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale are England international teammates.

And they have been training together during the current international break.

England will take on Italy in the UEFA Nations League on Friday evening before facing Germany in the same competition next Monday.

Trippier and Ramsdale are rivals at club level, with the former starring for Newcastle and the latter having established himself as the number one between the posts for Arsenal.

And, as you can see from the clip below, Trippier and Ramsdale combined for a goal in England training this week.

And Newcastle co-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi is pleased to see that.

Kieran Trippier is one of the best players for Newcastle United, and it is very likely that he will be part of the England squad for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar this year.

The former Atletico Madrid star is brilliant with crosses and free-kicks, and he has pace and energy too.

Oh, Trippier can defend as well.

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale should also be part of the England squad for Qatar this year, but we think that Everton star Jordan Pickford will be the number one between the posts for Gareth Southgate’s side.
