Bundesliga journalist Christian Falk has hinted that Liverpool-linked striker Randal Kolo Muani may be unable to focus on Eintracht Frankfurt due to Manchester United being interested in signing him.

Considering United are one of, if not the biggest club in the world, that tends to be the case for most transfer targets, especially when witnessing their rise under Erik ten Hag this season.

It was recently claimed that Manchester United were considering submitting an audacious £106 million bid for Randal Kolo Muani, who Liverpool reportedly enquired in February.

Liverpool target Kolo Muani could be swayed by Manchester United interest

The French striker is having an elite season at Frankfurt so far, wit 16 goals and 14 assists to his name in all competitions.

Kolo Muani, who has been described as ‘Rashford 2.0’ by Football Fan Cast is one of the most productive forwards in Europe currently, and looks likely to instantly improve any side that requires his services.

Christian Falk has now wrote on Caught Offside that Randal Kolo Muani is exit-bound, and amid interest from Liverpool, he has hinted that Manchester United may have caught his eye after all.

“Everyone’s getting the feeling that it’s no longer realistic for Frankfurt to keep Randal Kolo Muani for one year more.”

“The player’s already come out and said it’s the first time he can think about a summer move to a big club in particular. So, you see, Frankfurt is losing a lot of quality and this could be the reason why Oliver Glasner is considering leaving.”

“Manchester United is a big thing for Muani. They don’t have the right striker for this position; look at Wout Weghorst, he’s only scored two goals for them.”

“They are preparing an offer for him. He knows that and if you have United in your head, it’s hard to concentrate on Frankfurt.”

It seems as if Randal Kolo Muani may be favouring a move to Manchester United instead of Liverpool for the time being.
