Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are considering selling Alfredo Morelos for big money.

If Glasgow Rangers can get £15.5 million for Alfredo Morelos then it could be great business for the Ibrox side.

Foot Mercato claims that Gerrard’s side are holding out for a sizeable fee for the forward, as they look to take advantage of the interest in their top scorer.

Morelos may have scored prolifically for Rangers this season, but every time he steps on to the pitch Steven Gerrard is taking a risk by picking him.

Jermain Defoe has proven in recent weeks that Rangers can cope without Morelos’ goals, as he has stepped up to fill the void left by the Colombian during his suspension.

And if Rangers could bring in over £15 million for the striker then they should take the offer.

Morelos is unquestionably a talent, but Rangers could re-invest £15 million to make their team much stronger.

Gerrard’s side would be able to snap up Ryan Kent permanently with those sort of funds, and they would still have money spare to spend on other areas of their squad.

And if Rangers are given a big money offer for Morelos in the summer then they would be wise to take it.
