Aston Villa defender Kortney Hause is picking up some momentum.
Aston Villa picked up a well-earned point at Stoke City on Saturday afternoon, drawing 1-1 at the bet365 Stadium.
Villa went behind early on as Sam Vokes bagged his first goal for Stoke, backheeling from close range to open his Potters account.
However, Villa kicked on in the second half, and a fine run from Anwar El Ghazi teed up Albert Adomah to smash home the equaliser.
Villa came close to a winner as Tammy Abraham and Tyrone Mings both tested Jack Butland, but it finished in a 1-1 draw.
Dean Smith will have been pleased with his side’s second half display and especially the display from defender Kortney Hause.
The Wolves loanee endured a tricky start to his time at Villa Park, and his performance against Brentford was absolutely slammed by Villa fans earlier this month.
He did impress against Stoke though, and his upturn in performances has been summed up by Villa’s official Twitter account.
They posted a tweet highlighting Hause’s stats in the game, as he won 13 duels, more than any other player in the game – and added that he’s getting better with every game – something Villa fans may well agree with.
