The West Ham United man will reportedly be put up for sale in the summer.
West Ham are reportedly willing to sell Arthur Masuaku for around £10 million in the summer, according to the Daily Mirror (February 12th 2019, page 56), and if they manage to get anywhere near that amount, it would surely have to be considered as excellent business for the east London outfit.
The 25-year-old joined the Hammers from Olympiacos in the summer of 2016, for around £6 million, according to Sky Sports, but his time at the London Stadium has been undermined by inconsistency.
Masuaku has chalked up a goal and six assists in 69 appearances for West Ham, and he has actually proven to be more of an asset in the final third than he has defensively.
The Democratic Republic of Congo international really is a poor defender, and the Hammers always seem to be far weaker at the back when he plays instead of Aaron Cresswell.
Masuaku has also proven to be somewhat of a liability from a disciplinary persecutive, having received a six-game ban last year for spitting at an opponent.
If Manuel Pellegrini does end up selling the former Olympiacos man, he will obviously have to bring in another left-back, but should West Ham receive £10 million for his services, they will surely be over the moon.
