Jamie O’Hara has said on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies was lucky not to be penalised against Vitesse.

What’s the story?

Tottenham are in action in the Europa Conference League tonight.

The North London club are taking on Vitesse at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It is new Spurs manager Antonio Conte’s first game in charge of the Premier League club.

Tottenham are 3-2 up at the moment, but it could have been different had Davies’s challenge on Nikolai Baden Frederiksen been punished.

In the opening minutes of the Group G game, Frederiksen was clipped by Davies on the edge of the penalty box.

The Vitesse players wanted a penalty, but the referee denied it.

Jamie O’Hara’s verdict

Former Tottenham midfielder O’Hara was following the match.

The Sky Sports and talkSPORT pundit believes that Davies committed a foul on Frederiksen.

Tottenham were 3-0 up in the match after 28 minutes, but they have since conceded twice.

The North London club have to do much better in the second half defensively.

Or else they could even lose this game.
