Some West Ham fans on social media have been reacting after they were linked with a move for Real Madrid left-back Miguel Gutierrez.
The 19-year-old has been attracting plenty of interest from the Premier League this summer with Arsenal and Leeds reportedly keen on him, and now it seems as though the Hammers are in the race.
As you can imagine, the idea of signing a teenage defender from Real Madrid has sparked a reaction from the West Ham fanbase, and they’re extremely excited by this prospect.
Left-back isn’t really a problem position for the Hammers with Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku being handy options in that spot, but it seems as though Gutierrez could be coming in as a further reinforcement.
Of course, it remains to be seen whether or not the defender will join West Ham this summer, but if he were to arrive at the London Stadium fans would certainly approve of the move.
