Everton failed to return to winning ways in the Premier League on Tuesday evening. The Toffees played out a 1-1 draw with Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford.

Ronald Koeman’s side headed into the game against United on the back of 3-1 defeat to Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the Merseyside derby.

It was always going to be tough for the Toffees to win against the Red Devils, but the overall performance of the visiting team could have been better.

One Everton player who failed to perform to the best of his ability was Romelu Lukaku. The Belgium international striker started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes.

Former Everton defender Michael Ball was following the match, and he has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Lukaku should learn from United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Lukaku has scored 21 goals and provided six assists for Everton in the Premier League so far this season, while Ibrahimovic has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for United.
