Danny Rose’s future at Tottenham is looking more and more tenuous after the club’s Champions League win against APOEL.
The left-back was seen in heated discussion with head coach Mauricio Pochettino after sustaining a head injury in the second half, when he was taken off.
Spurs were 3-0 up, and Rose wanted to carry on playing.
Pochettino substituted him off, and Rose walked straight down the Wembley tunnel.
While BT Sport’s commentary team relayed that Rose had been treated with stitches for his injury, supporters continue to worry about his attitude.
Rose divided the fanbase in the summer with a controversial interview on the eve of the season criticising the club’s pay structure, and hinting at a desire to move on.
The left-back did return to the pitch after the final whistle to rejoin his teammates.
