Dele Alli provided some light entertainment for the Tottenham fans as the players were returning to London from their 1-0 win against Wolves on Sunday.
The attacking midfielder, on Instagram live, was on the Tottenham coach, where he was talking to his followers.
A certain Jan Vertonghen was commenting on Alli’s IG live and asking yesterday’s goalscorer ‘who is sitting in his seat?’ on the Tottenham coach now that he is no longer there.
Alli was sat at a table of four, with Eric Dier, Steven Bergwijn and Ryan Sessegnon, as he told Vertonghen that it was the flying Dutchman in his seat.
This is what was said, as Bergjwin lauded the former Spurs centre-back.
“Jan said get out of his seat,” Alli told Bergjwin.
The winger responded by saying: “Who said this. Jan? He is my guy. It’s my seat now. We are brothers. I take your seat (gives Vertonghen a thumbs up). Super Jan.”
Dier added: “Super Jan. We are taking care of the table. We have got some new ones here.”
Dele Alli then ribbed another one of his Tottenham teammates: “I don’t know how Sess (Sessegnon) is on this table. Sess has brought nothing to the table, Jan, no sweets. Nothing. Remember what you guys made me do to get my seat on this table? Sess is having is too easy.”

These are great early signs for Tottenham and Alli because there would have been a worry before a ball was kicked that this could have been a troublesome start for the club.
But despite the transfer noise outside of those Tottenham walls, Nuno Espirito Santo has done well to pick up two wins and clean sheets from two Premier League games.
Alli himself looks reenergized, back to his old self and showcasing great defensive discipline.
Now it’s just a case of continuing this form for 30+ games, rather than just starting off the season in a good fashion and fading away.
