Sunderland fans are suggesting Garry Monk, Slavisa Jokanovic and Roy Keane as possible replacements for under-fire David Moyes.
Sunderland’s Javi Manquillo celebrates scoring against Chelsea
Sunderland ended their miserable campaign with another defeat on Sunday afternoon, as they were beaten 5-1 away at champions Chelsea.
The Black Cats had long been relegated before they made the trip to West London, and the game was merely seen as a formality before the end of the campaign, when Sunderland can attempt to plan for the Championship.
Sunderland did though take the lead against Chelsea, with Javier Manquillo opening the scoring with a shock goal – but that was as good as it got for David Moyes’ men.
Willian, Eden Hazard and Pedro scored to put Chelsea 3-1 up, before substitute Michy Batshuayi came off the bench to add two late goals and seal a convincing victory for the Blues.

The result brings Sunderland’s season to an end, and they head back into the Championship having claimed just 24 points in 38 Premier League games, a whopping 16 points adrift of safety.
With the Black Cats now hoping to plan for promotion back to the top flight, the position of manager David Moyes will come under scrutiny, with many fans believing that the Scot should go.
Leeds United manager Garry Monk
Supporters took to Twitter to suggest that Ellis Short must realise that Moyes isn’t the right man for the job anymore, with one fan even suggesting that Moyes makes him miss former boss Steve Bruce.
Others suggested possible replacements for Moyes, including Leeds United’s Garry Monk, Fulham’s Slavisa Jokanovic and even ex-Sunderland boss Roy Keane, to bring some fight back to the club.
