Some Crystal Palace supporters are urging their side to pounce amid a report that Said Benrahma’s West Ham United move is ‘off’.

The Daily Mirror made the claim earlier on Monday, adding that the development has ‘left open a window’ for Palace.

The newspaper alleged that West Ham even scheduled a medical the winger after agreeing a fee worth £25 million with Brentford.

But a disagreement between Benrahma and Brentford was said to have left the deal ‘in danger of collapse’.

Crystal Palace had already been credited with an interest in the Algerian, who has excelled since his £1.5m move from Nice two years ago.

And the following Palace fans would love to see him swap the Brentford Community Stadium for Selhurst Park…

According to The Daily Mirror, West Ham are now ‘poised to focus all their energies’ on the Bournemouth striker Josh King.

And the newspaper adds that the Hammers are feeling ‘relaxed’ about the situation, with their manager, David Moyes, ‘understood to be more keen’ on King – with whom Crystal Palace have also been linked – than Benrahma.

It is said that West Ham have already had a £13 million offer rejected by Bournemouth, who want £18m.
