Aston Villa are considering sending Louie Barry on loan to a League Two side in the January transfer window, per Birmingham Live, sparking some Villans fans to react on social media.
The Villans are paying close attention to Barry’s form with Ipswich Town, having so far struggled in League One. Villa sent the 18-year-old to Portman Road for the season this summer, but he has yet established a regular role.
Barry has only started one of two third-tier appearances and has not featured for Ipswich in the league since August. Paul Cook has also only fielded the youngster for 215-minutes across all competitions, and the forward is yet to score.

Aston Villa can recall Barry from Ipswich in the January transfer window if his struggles continue over the coming months. The Villans have a Plan-B in place in case he returns to Birmingham, with a spell in League Two for the remainder of the season their intention.
Dean Smith had planned to keep Barry at Villa Park this summer before sanctioning his move to Portman Road. Villa left the striker off their loan list at first, but accepted a chance to play regular senior minutes. However, that is proving not to be the case with Ipswich.
