Some Aston Villa fans on social media are getting rather excited after they were linked with a move for Fulham’s Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
The Cameroon international has just tasted relegation with Fulham, but it seems as though he has an escape route from Craven Cottage straight back into the Premier League.
Villa fans are rather excited about the links to Anguissa, and to be fair, we can understand why.
Anguissa is fantastic on the ball, he’s a skilful midfielder who can beat a man with ease, but as with any relegated player, he has his downside.
Anguissa can be a lackadaisical player who doesn’t always do the running required of him in the middle of the park, and there are questions to be raised about how he’d fit into Dean Smith’s side.
However, fans seem to be sold on his silky skills and ability on the ball, and they’re rather excited at the prospect of signing the Fulham man.
