Liverpool supporters have suggested that they should go for Thomas Muller, after he suggested to the Times that he could leave Bayern Munich.

Muller has been at Bayern for the entirety of his professional career, but it seems that he may have his eyes on a new challenge.

And Liverpool fans think that he could be the perfect addition to Jurgen Klopp’s side, after his latest comments to the Times.

“I’m not fixed to this club [Bayern],” Muller said.

“I have a special relationship. But when there is a situation where you have to decide maybe to play for a different club, it would be no shame and no problem at all. Maybe like with Thiago [at Liverpool].”

The hint that Muller could leave has seemingly caused much debate among Reds supporters.

And although the 31-year-old is now reaching the twilight of his career, many Liverpool fans feel that he could still be a great option for them.

If Muller was to sign for Liverpool he would certainly offer them experience and a winning mentality.

It would actually be very intriguing to see him link up with Thiago again at Anfield, as the pair enjoyed such an excellent partnership at Bayern.

Muller, who was once hailed as ‘world-class’ by Germany boss Joachim Low (GMS), could add to Liverpool’s goalscoring threat if he was to join, which would surely be welcomed after what has been a difficult season for Klopp’s men.

While Liverpool do have a number of attacking threats, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane haven’t hit the back of the net with much regularity this season, which has caused some concern.

Muller, on the other hand, has scored 10 goals and claimed 14 assists in 24 league games for Bayern, which means that if he does become available there will surely be plenty of interest in acquiring his services.
