Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting to reports that the club have seen a €30m (£25m) bid for Roger Ibanez rejected by Roma.
The report states that Spurs have been on the centre-backs trail for some time, and fans clearly want to see the club go back in for him.
The London club are clearly very interested in the defender, but after he recently signed a new contract with an €80m release clause, it may be tough for them to secure his services.
It remains to be seen whether or not Tottenham go back in for the defender, but if they were to continue their pursuit of him, it would certainly be a popular move amongst supporters.
Indeed, fans on social media were extremely excited by the prospect of Ibanez coming in.
Spurs could certainly do with a new centre-back, and that’s reportedly a position Jose Mourinho wants strengthening, so we can understand why Tottenham fans are excited about this.
