West Bromwich Albion first-team coach Gerry Francis has spent a large bulk of his footballing career at Queens Park Rangers.

Gerry Francis has refused to rule out returning to Queens Park Rangers, when asked if he’d be interested in going back to Loftus Road on Sky Sports News (which was broadcast on 16th November).

Francis has spent a large bulk of his time in football at QPR, after representing the London club as both a player and manager.

And with Francis being a friend of new QPR boss Ian Holloway, it was suggested that the 64-year-old could be in line to return to the London side.

Francis, who currently works as a first-team coach for West Bromwich Albion, was coy with his response, but he certainly did not rule out the possibility of joining up with Holloway.

“I’ve had 20 years at the club,” he said, when asked whether he would like to be involved at QPR.

“[I’ve had] some great times, and it’s always a club that I look for. I’ve got some great memories. I just want them to do well and get back to the Premier League.”

Holloway is set to take charge of QPR for the first time since taking over from Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink this weekend.

QPR are due to face Norwich City at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon, as they look to end a run of three matches without a victory.

QPR are currently in 17th place in the Championship table, after a disappointing start to the campaign.
