Steven Gerrard is an admirer of Celtic’s Kieran Tierney.

Steven Gerrard is weighing up a move to begin his management career with Scottish giants Rangers.
There he must try to deal with the unstoppable force of Celtic, led by his former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.
Gerrard is an admirer of one Celtic player in particular, praising Kieran Tierney earlier this year during the Scottish club’s Champions League campaign.

Speaking to BT Sport after Celtic’s 3-0 win against Anderlecht, Gerrard tipped Tierney to earn a move away from the club.
He said: “Excellent left-back, he’s an attacking full-back.
“I’m sure that a lot of sides are watching him.”
When Gerrard takes the reins at Rangers, he will be hoping an English Premier League side come in for Tierney.
The Scotland international has an impeccable record against Rangers, playing a key role in Celtic’s repeated victories over their rivals.

Tierney has provided four assists in 11 games against Rangers, including one in the 4-0 semi-final victory.
Perhaps Tierney’s biggest asset has been the way he has managed to shut down Rangers’ wingers.
At the weekend he coasted through the game in the 5-0 win and pocketed Rangers best attacking player Daniel Candeias.
Gerrard must find a way for his Rangers side to cause Tierney trouble, in the way no manager has done previously.
Failing that his best hope is that Tierney clinches a move away from Glasgow.
