Rangers lured winger Brandon Barker to Ibrox last week.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has told Rangers TV that fans will see Brandon Barker ‘very very soon’, as he’s unable to play tonight.
The Gers are back in Europa League action once again tonight, as they play the second leg of their qualifying clash with Danish side FC Midtjylland at Ibrox.
Gerrard saw his side turn in a superb display last week, leaving Denmark with a 4-2 win and one foot in the next round, but the job isn’t done until it’s done – as Celtic’s defeat to CFR Cluj showed.
Rangers will be hoping for a positive night, but one player who won’t feature is new signing Barker, with the winger unable to feature.
Barker joined Rangers last week, leaving hometown club Manchester City for a move to Ibrox after 15 years in their setup.
Last season, the 22-year-old was on loan at Preston North End, where he failed to really produce on a consistent basis, but did show flashes of his ability.

Barker has experience of Scottish football with Hibernian, and will be an exciting player given his pace and dribbling, but just needs to put his game together now.
Gerrard has confirmed that Barker is unable to play tonight as he wasn’t registered for the first leg, so can’t play in the second, but added that fans will see him very soon as he continues to work on his fitness.
“I think you have to name Brandon Barker before the first tie, so I’m unable to add him unfortunately,” said Gerrard. “He’s working hard, he’s topping up his fitness, and you all see him very very soon,” he added.
