Rangers lost to Aberdeen at Ibrox on Tuesday night.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has told Rangers TV that he is ‘angry’ with his players after their 2-0 defeat to Aberdeen on Tuesday night.
The Gers were back in action again after a 1-1 draw at Hibernian on Friday night, and were looking to advance in the Scottish Cup after a 1-1 draw in their first game with Aberdeen earlier this month.
Gerrard was looking to push towards a first piece of silverware, but his Rangers side served up an absolute dud at Ibrox in a 2-0 defeat.
Niall McGinn had Aberdeen in front inside three minutes, and as Rangers pressed for an equaliser, they were hit with the second goal from Connor McLennan.
Rangers couldn’t get back into the game and slipped to defeat, with Aberdeen going on to face Celtic in the semi-finals of the competition.
The Ibrox faithful were understandably disappointed at the final whistle, and boss Gerrard admitted that he was angry after his players fell flat.
Gerrard admitted that he spotted a ‘major concern’ with the performance, and was in the fact that Aberdeen ‘wanted it more’ than the Rangers players.

Gerrard added that he couldn’t even speak to his players in the dressing room after the game as he was too angry, summing up his mood after the defeat.
“We’ve got no complaints in terms of the result,” said Gerrard. “They deserved it, they’ve bullied us in certain areas of the pitch today. They wanted it more in certain areas of the pitch, which is a major concern.”
“It’s extremely frustrating right now. I haven’t gone in to speak to the players because I don’t think it’s the right time, I don’t feel ready to speak to them just yet because I’m angry,” he added.
