The Rangers midfielder has desperately struggled with injuries since moving to Ibrox 18 months ago.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard spoke to reporters yesterday, ahead of his side’s trip to Hibernian tonight, and provided a fitness update on Graham Dorrans, suggesting that he hopes to have the midfielder back and available for selection at the end of next month, as quoted by BT Sport.
The 31-year-old has not played since September, after experiencing trouble with the knee that he injured during the summer, and he has been greatly missed at Ibrox.
Rangers have actually began the season in fine fashion. They currently sit comfortably at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, and having someone with Dorrans’ quality back and available for selection will be a massive boost for them.
Gerrard addressed the media yesterday, and provided an update on the Scotland international, suggesting that he hopes to have him back and available for selection at the end of January or early February, as quoted by BT Sport:

“Graham Dorrans is progressing well. If everything keeps going in the right direction then hopefully he will be back sometime between the end of January and beginning of February, if all goes well. He is a player we need back as soon as possible because he helps us at the top end of the pitch with his creativity and goal threat.”
Gerrard will be hoping that his side can safely navigate their path through the next four games before the winter break, and if they emerge unscathed, they will be in a great position from which to win their first top flight title since 2011.
And with Dorrans seemingly closing in on a return, Rangers seem to be in great shape.
