Steven Gerrard managed to convince a Liverpool employee to jump ship with him to Rangers after eight years.

The Rangers revolution under Steven Gerrard is well underway and hard work is being done behind the scenes.
One of the under the radar pieces of business Gerrard has done is managing to convince Liverpool fitness coach Jordan Milsom to join him in Scotland.
Milsom posted on Twitter last week confirming his departure.
It is easy to look at it and think ‘so what, he’s just a fitness coach’, but the more you look at it, the more impressive it is.

Milsom is a Liverpool fan who has been working in his dream job at the club for the past eight years.
Milsom studied at Liverpool University and has a real bond with the city, and worked with Liverpool’s first team for seven years before focusing on Gerrard’s under-18s last year.
The fact that after one year with Gerrard he has decided to up sticks and join him says a lot about the pull of the new Rangers manager.
Milsom is evidently buying in that Gerrard will be given time, and that his is an appointment which will last.
You don’t give up a dream job at Liverpool unless you believe what you are going to can be secure.

Of course football is unpredictable, and the Rangers hotseat has been a revolving door in recent years, but Gerrard strongly hopes to change that.
Milsom for one appears to be buying in, and he is unlikely to be the only one.
