Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will fight for the Premier League title on the final day of the season, and Aston Villa manager and Anfield legend Steven Gerrard may play a big role.
Liverpool are a point behind last season’s champions and current leaders Manchester City in second place in the Premier League table at the moment.
The Reds will face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield on the final day of the season.
City will take on Villa at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Villa played Burnley at Villa Park in the Premier League on Thursday evening.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Steven Gerrard does Liverpool a favour in title race v Manchester City
Neither Dannys Ings nor Philippe Coutinho started the match for the Villans.

While striker Ings came on in the 78th minute, attacking midfielder Coutinho replaced Jacob Ramsey in the 72nd minute.
That Gerrard did not start Ings or Coutinho against Burnley suggests that the two former Liverpool players are likely to start against City.
Both Ings and Coutinho will surely want their former club Liverpool win the Premier League title, and so will Gerrard.
Ings and Coutino have been regulars for Villa, and, in our opinion, the two players are surely going to start against City.
A win against City on the final day of the season would see Villa end the season on a high.
And potentially held Liverpool win the Premier League title.
