Steven Gerrard has revealed that Ryan Jack’s return for Rangers represents an ‘immense boost’ for the title-chasing club.
The Gers maintain their cruise toward the Premiership title with a visit of Ross County tomorrow.
Rangers, who have a 20-point lead over second-placed Celtic, have been without their star midfielder since November due to injury.
But Jack is due to return to the squad tomorrow night and Gerrard feels that it’s a ‘massive’ boost for the light Blues.
It really is ridiculous that Rangers are having such a good season despite missing Jack for over two months.
If Celtic were without their influential midfielder Scott Brown for the same length of time then it’s very possible that Neil Lennon’s side would be in an even worse position.
But the truth is Rangers’ squad is unbelievable and it’s testament to the strength of it that they’ve maintained their form without Jack being available.
