Rangers have been linked with bringing Nick Powell to Ibrox.

Rangers have already struck two pre-contract agreements this month, and a third could yet be in the pipeline for Steven Gerrard’s side.
The Gers have landed Dundee midfielder Glen Kamara and Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones on pre-contract agreements, meaning they will join Rangers for free when their deals expire this summer.
Rangers may not be done just yet though, as The Sun report that Rangers are also ready to rival Celtic for the signature of Wigan Athletic playmaker Nick Powell by offering him a pre-contract agreement too.
Powell, 24, is out of contract this summer and seemingly won’t be staying with Wigan, meaning Celtic and Rangers have hope of luring him to Glasgow.
However, Rangers boss Gerrard has now told Sky Sports that the new rumour is the first he’s heard of the Gers wanting to land Powell, so it’s very much news to him.
Rangers seemingly aren’t prioritising a deal for Powell, but the former Manchester United talent would cap off a perfect January window for Gerrard, and he should consider a bid if he hasn’t already.

Powell has the creativity to transform Rangers’ midfield, providing potential for goals and assists behind Alfredo Morelos; something the Gers have lacked at times this season.
Landing a player like that usually costs millions, but Powell is available for nothing, and if they can pip Celtic by signing him, then it really would cap off an incredible January.
Two veteran players signed up for the title race and two talented players on pre-contracts, Rangers have done business for now and for the future, with Powell the icing on the cake if Gerrard reconsiders his stance.
