Rangers need to give Greg Docherty a full chance at Ibrox next season.

Rangers took a decision last summer to send Greg Docherty out on loan to gain experience away from Ibrox.
It was a big hit, with Docherty bagging 10 goals and providing 11 assists. Now he returns to Rangers hoping for a first team chance.
Steven Gerrard’s upcoming decision is a big one. Really it should be obvious for the Gers.
Giving Docherty a full chance at Ibrox next season is not only important to improving the Rangers team.
It also would send a positive message to this season’s outgoing Rangers loanees.

Over the past 24 hours, Rangers have been linked with sending two stars out on loan.
The Scottish Sun report Rangers want to send Glenn Middleton and Jake Hastie out for the season.
Both players will want to do enough to earn a spot in the Rangers first team the following year.
If Steven Gerrard gives Docherty a chance, he will inspire both Middleton and Hastie.
Docherty was a success out on loan at Shrewsbury. He has earned another Rangers shot.
Gerrard should give it to him, and inspire this year’s set of Gers loanees, and show them it will all be worth it.
