Glasgow Rangers strikers Jermain Defoe and Alfredo Morelos played together for Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club at the weekend.

Defoe, signed on loan from Bournemouth in the Premier League, and Morelos were paired together by Rangers boss Gerrard during the friendly game against Helsinki.
Gerrard told The Scottish Sun: “It looks dangerous. They are two good players and they seem to like playing together. Having Jermain here gives us that option, and having Kyle Lafferty as well.
“It gives us the opportunity to play a different system if we want to. We can play 3-5-2, a diamond in midfield or 4-4-2.”
Exciting hint for Rangers fans
Morelos is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership and has been in brilliant form for Rangers so far this season.
According to WhoScored, the Colombia international striker has scored 12 goals in 19 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Gers so far this campaign.
Defoe is a proven goalscorer, and the former West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur striker is a big signing for Rangers.
It will take a while for Morelos and Defoe to develop an understanding with each other, and when they do, it is going to be frightening for the opposition defenders.
Rangers fans should be looking forward to the next few months, which could be very interesting.
