Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has confirmed that Jake Hastie is Ibrox-bound.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has told The Scottish Sun that Jake Hastie’s move to Ibrox will be confirmed ‘very, very soon’.
The Gers coasted home to victory this afternoon, beating Aberdeen 2-0 at Ibrox to secure second place in the Scottish Premiership.
Gerrard saw James Tavernier score two penalties as Rangers picked up the key victory for second spot, now sitting 11 points ahead of Aberdeen with three games to go.
Rangers will now have one eye on the summer transfer window as they look to prepare for the Europa League qualifiers, and one summer signing is already coming in Kilmarnock’s Jordan Jones.
However, signing number two appears to be imminent, as Motherwell winger Hastie is all set to complete his move to Ibrox too.
Rumours of Hastie’s move to Rangers have ramped up in recent weeks, and Gerrard has now confirmed that the deal will be announced imminently.

“We’re on the cusp of mentioning Hastie, that will be announced very, very soon,” said Gerrard.
Hastie, 20, has starred for Motherwell since returning from a loan spell with Alloa Athletic, hitting seven goals in 14 games whilst starring with his pace and athletic ability.
The youngster is out of contract this summer, so Rangers have swooped in with a pre-contract agreement, meaning Motherwell will be entitled to compensation once the deal is confirmed, which should be within days if Gerrard is correct.
