Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be busy during the summer transfer window.

Julian Brandt’s agent and father Jurgen Brandt spoke exclusively to Kicker, and denied claims that his client and son has agreed a deal to join Bayern Munich in the summer.
If the 20-year-old does not in fact go on to join the Bundesliga giants, there will surely be a lengthy queue for his signature, including a plethora of Premier League clubs.
And one of those clubs should be Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs have been linked with a move for another highly-rated German youngster – Max Meyer, but they might just be better served in pursuing the Bayer Leverkusen ace.
Brandt is eight months younger than the Schalke man, and at 20-years-old, he has showcased outstanding maturity levels for someone so young.
He has also dominated Meyer in pretty much every statistic in the Bundesliga and European football this term.
Brandt has made 33 appearances for Leverkusen, compared with the 21-year-old’s 30 for Schalke.
Meyer has scored just two goals and chipped in with one assist during those outings, whilst the 20-year-old Leverkusen attacker has contributed with three goals and six assists.
Brandt has also been far more influential to his side this term, making 48 key passes compared with Meyer’s 33.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side sometimes lack a cutting edge, and the 20-year-old German’s dribbling skills would provide the Argentine with another threat in attacking positions.
Schalke’s Max Meyer
He has completed 76 dribbles, as opposed to Meyer’s meagre total of just 18.
Another reason why Tottenham should pursue Brandt over Meyer is the Leverkusen man’s superior physique, and how it would be more suited to the robust nature of the Premier League.
Brandt stands at 6ft tall, whilst Meyer is just 5ft 8in, and considerably more lightweight than his counterpart.
Whilst both players will surely command a fairly substantial transfer fee, Tottenham should most definitely be looking to sign at least one of them during the summer transfer window, and judging by the stats, Brandt is the man they should prioritise.
